Desturi Safari Visual Identity
In collaboration with the creative agency One Space Media, I developed the brand identity for Desturi Safari, a travel company offering bespoke journeys across Africa. The name Desturi, derived from Swahili meaning “custom journey,” became the conceptual foundation for the visual direction.
The objective was to create an identity that captured the balance at the heart of safari travel. Adventure and discovery needed to sit comfortably alongside refinement and considered luxury. The brand had to feel immersive yet effortless, inspiring confidence while maintaining warmth and approachability.
The visual system draws on this duality. Elegant typography and a restrained colour palette establish sophistication, while expressive compositions and subtle detailing evoke movement and exploration. Together, these elements shape a confident and sociable identity that reflects Desturi Safari’s promise of personalised, unforgettable experiences.
